Full Journal pdf2014-04-24 Senate Journal Page 2774 HB 23 Message dated April 23 was read stating the House failed to concur in the Senate amendments to 2d CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 23(RLS) "An Act creating the Knik Crossing Development Corporation as a subsidiary corporation of the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation and relating to bonds of the Knik Crossing Development Corporation" and respectfully requests the Senate to recede from its amendments, namely: 2014-04-24 Senate Journal Page 2775 SENATE CS FOR 2d CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 23(FIN) am S "An Act relating to the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority; relating to the bonding authority of the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority; requiring certain products used in construction contracts for the Knik Arm bridge to be made in the United States; relating to toll bridge revenue bonds; creating the toll bridge revenue fund, the toll bridge revenue bond redemption fund, and the bond reserve fund; relating to powers and duties of the state bond committee; and providing for an effective date." In the event the Senate fails to recede, the Speaker has appointed the following members to a Free Conference Committee to meet with a like committee from the Senate to consider the bills: Representative Austerman, Chair Representative Stoltze Representative Drummond The House waived Uniform Rule 42(a) and (b). Senator Fairclough, Acting Majority Leader, moved that the Senate recede from its amendments and recommended the body vote no. The question being: "Shall the Senate recede from its amendments?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS 2d CSHB 23(FIN) am S Shall the Senate Recede from its Amendments to 2d CSHB 23(RLS)? YEAS: 0 NAYS: 19 EXCUSED: 1 ABSENT: 0 Nays: Bishop, Dunleavy, Dyson, Egan, Ellis, Fairclough, French, Gardner, Giessel, Hoffman, Huggins, Kelly, McGuire, Meyer, Micciche, Olson, Stedman, Stevens, Wielechowski Excused: Coghill and so, the Senate failed to recede. 2014-04-24 Senate Journal Page 2776 Senator Fairclough, Acting Majority Leader, moved and asked unanimous consent to waive Uniform Rule 42(a) and (b). Without objection, it was so ordered. The President appointed the following members to a Free Conference Committee to meet with the like committee from the House: Senator McGuire, Chair Senator Micciche Senator Gardner The Secretary was requested to notify the House.
